New turkey masher
New turkey masher
I will get this one ready over the winter. Took me 3 years to get it, I can wait awhile to hunt it I guess. Haven't decided on sights. It came with low profile fiber optic open sights but I'm a scope guy.

Very nice. I am jealous as all heck. I can't wait to see the patterns..
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Re: New turkey masher
Got my gun back after a 1 day turnaround from my gunsmith buddy. All I can say is WOW! Autos have heavier factory triggers usually due to safety of preventing accidental followups Im told. The worse part was the travel. This trigger on this 10 was right above 10 lbs! Now its a hair under 4. Its like a whole new trigger assembly. Great pull with far less travel. Thats step one of it's road to turkey rig status. All is cost me was a call.

Re: New turkey masher
Probably 50% of the reason I got this one is seeing the trend of disappearing guns. Just like the old school 12's some enjoy having around, someday the 10 ga will be gone and some will ask why. Go look at brownings website..last I looked they have removed the gold light 10 pic, just like the last model in new breakup that isnt made anymore. This and a bps 10 is the only two I have. That bps is a gobbler mashing stick whether you shoot him with it or drop it on his foot. I love that gun. This auto took one the first day this year. Maybe since Remington has quit making the sp10 Browning can hold on for awhile. Personally I'd live to see a Benelli Black Eagle 10 ga but chances of that are terrible.
