Contact Hawglips on this site. He will sell you the shot and give you load recipe and components list. Don't think about 3.5" shells. You won't need them. He has a 3-2-9 load that is very good and efficient load.

There are no numbers on any of my clocks below 8. Then all of a sudden, 2 days before turkey season they appear. Then right after the season they disappear.

X2 what johndoe said. When I started loading Tss I wanted every load, etc. The 3" can be loaded as heavy as 3 1/2" shell and you want need all the extra components.

Is that rite tge 3" can be loaded as hot as 3.5" factory load so you think all I need is a 3-2-9 load I don't need 3.5" but I bet the 3".5" really hammers them

The 3.5" load is crazy good. Blend 7x8 TSS and let it roll. Is it necessary? No. Is it awesome and patterns better for a little more money per shot? Yes.

I loaded a friend of mine the 3.5" 2.5 oz load of straight 7.5s.... Results speak for itself.

No. 3" max pressure is 11,500psi and 3.5" is 14,000 psi. But 2.5oz will fit in a 3" wad and still allow cushion inside. With the slower powders Hal has used in so many loads I can't imagine he doesn't have one in 3". All I was sayin is that you can have large payloads without 3.5" components.

And realistically, the extra velocity you could generate in a 3.5" hull vs a 3" one (due to the higher max press. limit of the 3.5") is not needed with TSS. TSS 7.5s or 8s would kill at insane distances at 1050 fps, no need to hot rod them.
