Why

Post by Johndoe »

I figured out why I don't shoot a 12 anymore tonight. I shined a light and saw a large sow coon in the yard. 1st thing I found was 870SM and a 3.5/#4 win shell. Still seeing stars. Wow. Kills on both ends.

There are no numbers on any of my clocks below 8. Then all of a sudden, 2 days before turkey season they appear. Then right after the season they disappear.
What's up with that

Yeah, I can do without a torn rotator cuff or a detached retina myself.

I only own one 3.5" gun and that is the 935. I fully intend on selling it and replacing with a 3" 12 or a Weatherby SA-459.

I bought it to coyote hunt mainly, but I am about to start shooting them with TSS so I don't need to loosen fillings anymore...

Yeah I have an 870 Super Mag that has sat in the rear of the safe for the past couple of years after we discovered 20 gauge TSS. More pain and less performance? Yes please! :violent1:

I am strongly considering selling it and picking up a 3" 12 gauge pump... not for turkeys, but in case I decide to go for pheasant, grouse, etc. I don't want to be without a 12 gauge.

Believe it or not, TSS 12s are not bad at all. Not even the big 2 1/2 ozer.

Just messing with you Mr. John. When shooting like that or paper they will rock you.

I do shoot the 3.5" mag blends from time to time though.
