this is what I love about GN..
it can go from jump rope to getting sweaty watching others work out, but its over the pizza and beer to getting invited to hit with Grumpy who invites you to hunt with Hobbes too
that would be a fun trip to hunt the far out west

I am not an elk hunter, I did shoot a couple in the Sweetgrass Hills, north of Chester, Mt. along highway #2. I didn't care for to eat them, both were cows, it is a special drawing area and both time I drew a cow permit. I don't care to eat the stuff, too gamey tasting for me, people that say it tastes like beef have never had good beef. I do like antelope for table fare IMO it can't be beat by any other wild game 4 legged animal. Too much of Montana is leased up anymore by the outfitters and they charge an arm and a leg to guide and so that leaves the public ground overrun with "would be elk and deer hunters".

Well stated about the "wanta' B' elk & deer" hunters
I find it hard to believe your elk were that tasteless, but who knows what you may have baited and fattened em' up with
I sure know Michigan elk are very tender and one of the sweetest big game meats, I have ever had!!!
Now that antelope I had, could have been fixed by non-antelope meat wanta' B' cooks, cause the coon tasted a lot better, at the wild game dinners I've attended over the years

Grumpster I know you're nuts, but your off your rocker on this one I'd eat elk over any wild game.. imo antelope is gross, but I've only had it from antelope feeding heavily on sage. I'm not against sage but this was strong

Our antelope here all come from miles and miles of grain fields and the eat the green sprouts right up to and including the whole ripe heads, the meat is outstanding to eat and not tough at all, these elk here eat twigs , wild grasses and that is about it, you can have my share.

I'd jump rope a lot if it wasn't so hard to find two girls to swing the rope for me. I mean they are always in school or doing homework or playing video games. It's just too difficult to coordinate schedules.

If I wasn’t married and just turned 19 I would look for a couple girls to help me rope jump

anyone else jump rope?
Not as much as i used to but jumping rope is a great way to get the heart rate up there. Been heavy into kettlebells the last 5 years or so and that gives me all the hardcore cardio i need.
Have you learned any tricks yet with your rope? Double jumping and crossovers were as fancy as i ever got. With a rope, the trick is to keep your feet as close to the floor as possible. Good luck and keep it up! Exercise is absolutely essential!
