cross cut coco teal call
My buddy ( Craig Scott, Mudpuppi Calls) was tinkering with a teal call. He brought over the proto type and I fell in love with it. I had a piece of cross cut coco with some spalted sap wood. I gave it to him to turn a teal call out of. Here is what he got done for me. http://i64.photobucket.com/albu...

Re: Give me some tips for a climber!
What kind of climber did you get? Some have straps that go across the back of your ankles to make lifting the foot platform easier. Id suggest using them. Once again, make sure there is a strap connecting the foot climber with the main climber. As far as sweating. Carry a back back and leave extra c...

Hey MA, I have Williams number at Sum Toy if you want to call him and speak with him. Im running a sum toy in both my 20 ga guns. He builds a great choke.
His have a nice even spread and seem to be a little more open at closer ranges.

Ma, The Indian creek would cover an 8X11 piece of paper with the 6s at 55 yards.
Obviously in close its a super tight pattern....baseball size at less than 15 yards. softball size at 25 yards. Paper plate size at 40.

MA, i used to shoot the Winchester extended range 6s, but not out of a mossberg. I got the best pattern with them out of an Indian Creek 665 and then a Kicks 660.

Ive got an old Grand Ol Man back when the original owners had them before selling out twice.
That baby is sweet. been the death of some deer over the years. Its so quiet I had one walk out one time, while I was climbing the tree.

I make leather lanyards for trumpets and tube calls. I had some orders and had some new colors and new style beads I wanted to try. Some are made to order, others are just some color combos I want to try. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h173/dcrow77/P1010320.jpg Couple close ups. http://i64.photob...

I like to hear myself call! :D With that, I sometimes try to make things happen, instead of letting them happen. Mike X2, I do the same I also will not wait on a gobbler for long periods. I cant wait one out for more than an hour or so if they arent actively working. Id rather leave and try to get ...

Ive also never understood the shorter barrell makes it more manueverable arguement. Ive been shooting em 20 years and never lost one because I couldnt get the gun on them. yeah i agree with maneuverability, but if you are hunting in THICK crap like we do down here in Florida, that shorter barrel ge...
