There is no in between with these boots. Guys either love them or hate them with a passion. I know two guys that bought them and both said they were the most uncomfortable thing they ever wore.

They are awesome rounds and at $15 a box they are a steal. I have two set ups. One shoots them in the 120s they other shoots them in the 140s......yep thats right #6s. They like 570 chokes out of both guns. And there are still some states that dont allow tss. What guns are you shooting? Weatherby S...

Re: Trumpet lip stops
You can buy a box of hard rubber faucet washers at Home Depot for a couple of bucks. Not as long as rubber stoppers, but pre-drilled and work (and look) just fine as lip stops. Gil Gill you can get wine stoppers predrilled on ebay. Find a small enough metal rod and chuck it up in a drill. Get some ...

Re: Mouth Calls vs Friction Calls and Trumpet style calls
I run mouth calls and trumpets 95% of the time. They hang on a lanyard around my neck, and I go.
When it's raining they are water proof. No other call can mimic the same amount of turkey sounds as a mouth call if a man knows how to run it.

Re: go to diaphragm calls
Over the years I've had many. I had a little cutter call from gooserbat I loved. He gave great information as well. There are a lot of call makers out there. You just have to find what fits you. My favorites are the ones I make for myself. Once I started making my own calls, I could tweak them for m...

Re: OWL AND CROW CALLS
I love a good crow call too.... I've built a few several years ago...Making your own mouth piece and not using a public plastic mouth piece is one hell of a challenge. http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd15/tyrky270/PICT0119sets2008.jpg You shouldn't have made that known. I may put you to work now...

I run a denatured swab between shots. It's always done fine.
After polishing patterns blow out after first shot with cold barrel. I'm gonna try some more dirty and see what happens.

Re: Haymaker Choke Tube 20ga 870
Shot the haymaker tonight. 88 degrees. 870 youth. A buddy polished my gun about three weeks ago. Since then patterns are off from historical numbers. First shot, Haymaker 560, fed 7s old 3v lot ( usually 150 from ssx) clean.........shot a 64 in 10. POI a foot low. Second shot Haymaker 560, fed 6s. 5...
