You can't tell by looking at the pics, but there are two aglets center ways of the bill on both sides. I have the band secured there to keep it from moving. This also makes it easy to remove. In case I want to hunt with the hat.

To me, confidence, has always been the key to sucess.
No matter what turkey sound that I am making.
I would have to say, if you feel good about the sounds you make, keep on making them.
Hopefully, the birds won't be able to see how funny you look.

Same here...Depends on the bird...
But, I do mix it up, when trying to get something started.

I have several different slates that are custom made by locals down this way. Just picked up a nice trough with a thin strip of slate down the middle, it is a "Ben Lee" shaped like a little boat. purs and clucks like nothing else I have... "Natural voice", but, sparingly... But, ...
