Re: Charles Daly youth 20
Yep, my wife has one. Black on black. Uses the Rem choke. She killed a biggun last season farther than I'd like to remember with it, using the 1 3/8oz load. Thing is a dream to carry. Must not weigh but 5 lb.

Hey Tommy, what type bullet, and what grain are you shooting? I was shootin the 250 this day. It was a Rem model 7 Predator. I usually shoot Nosler BTs, but this particular rifle seems to like Hornady Zombie Max 50s better. 37 grns of Hodgdon Benchmark pushes it @3875, and quarter inch groups. The ...

Yep Ray, been after em a little bit myself. Bucks this year at the farm are small and not that many. Yote shows up, it's game on. Been taking my two fresh varmint rifles. Both with low light capabilities. 22-250, and 220 Swift. Nothing wrong with a 204, but if you want the ultimate in varmint shooti...

Re: Browning 10ga Gold.
I went on a roll of 26"s there for awhile. First the Big 10, then a cheap azz Verona, Stoeger 2000, Beretta extrema 3.5, then Lily's M1 20ga.
All 26s. Come to think of it, I also went on a rifle kick of 26s. 260, 264 mag, 26 Nos, and 6.5x 284

Tungsten prices have went up considerably over the summer!!! Called a half dozen of my suppliers, and yes, all of them have went up, a bunch. I've heard several rumors like, some new EPA ruling. Making them change the way they get it out of the ground and such. Talked to several ammo makers, to ver...

Oh Yea, you're speakin my language now. I think my all time favorite was a 69 RS, 454 Big block, built to the hilt. Never happened though, but one can dream!!! Loved those hide aways on those. Still wish to do one these days, til I realize how much better the newer cars handle.

SS headers are going on next week. Already had Cat back Corsas on it. I just hope it's not too loud. Ricky's buddy in VA has been tuning the computer. Finally have something that is drivable. Found a plug wire off while I was doing the rockers. No wonder it was running like crap, and Willie was havi...

Lookin good Raspy, glad you got him. Get em all.
Since we are not allowed to shoot at night here, I finally settled for can dog food, and fly bait.
Got tired of seeing them on game cam every single night.

Re: Relived some of my childhood tonight
Man, we cruised around town as teenagers, but it wasn't hot rods, it was 4X4's. We were redneckin' every weekend. We even had CB radios and chatted all night long! I had a 1970 fire engine red Bronco with Mickey Thompson tires! Yep, before the Hot Rod, while still in High School, dad bought a new 7...

Relived some of my childhood tonight
Have not done this in 37 years, but it was refreshing, just the same. Used to do it every Friday and Saturday nite as teens. Seems Juvenile now, but I got reminded why, bout half way around. Met Lily in town, and we did a Mexican restaurant. Afterwards, I took her back to her car, and she said...

Nice dinner with Gobbler Doug
Doug stopped by on the interstate coming through and gave us a holler. Met him for O'charleys, Thursday special. All you can eat catfish. As always, had a great visit. Dinner was great too!! He actually came up to pick up his 2 3/4" loads he's been wanting. May meet him for breakfast ...

Found out the hard way, the factory rockers only have .550 travel. Still tuning the computer. Still not running right yet, but we will get. Pro...
