Re: Last Hunt of the season
Well the final day didnt turn out as good as I wanted. Plenty of birds but they would not move. Had teal, gadwall, mottled ducks, and pintail swimming all morning just out of range. We finally made a move and I scraped a few up. Ended up with 2 teal and a nice pintail. I lost a mottled and a teal. A...

Re: Last Hunt of the season
Looks good. I was going to hang it up after the Mississippi trip but a buddy called late last night and we flat out murdered the wood ducks. Then another buddy called and have another good one lined up for tomorrow morning. I will try to get some pics up after tomorrows hunt.

Re: Morning duck hunt
Looks like a good morning. Things have slowed down a bit here. Still plenty of birds but they wont get up and move. My brother is walking out the door now on the way. I'll let you know how he does. I am going to give the deer one last go before the season goes out then I will focus back on the ducks...

Morning duck hunt
Had a sucessful duck hunt this morning with a limit of ring necks and red heads. I wasnt lucky enought to kill a goose although I had a shot but they were border line range so I passed on them. Two of them were killed by a 10 year old with one shot using a 20 ga. http://i1069.photobucket.com/albums/...

Range day
This might be the best 3 shot group I have ever shot. I was using up some old ammo today at the range when all of the sudden I found one she likes. The hole to the left was a different load and the group at the top was a 3 round group using cheap winchester 147 gr fmj at 100 yards. http://i1069.phot...

Re: Shrimp season is finally here
Tommy the short answer is very little sleep but I do have a favorable schedule. I only work 14 days a month and my normal hours are 3pm-3am which works out perfect for duck and turkey hunting.

I live in Georgetown, SC. I would think those would be large shrimp. We caught some jumbos earlier this week but the wind changed and it got too rough and we had to leave.
