Re: New French Doors!

The drip cap, peel and seal, and silicone are all additional barriers to moisture. Vinyl siding can get water behind it. Basically, on a new vinyl sided house. When a door goes in (assumming vapor barrier house wrap is already on), the back side of the brick mold should be siliconed all the way arou...

Re: New French Doors!

Cap flash is a piece of metal flashing bent over the tops of doors. Peel and seal is a flexible tape flashing that goes on the outside of window and doors nailing flanges or brick mold. Make sure you go all the way around the brick mold on the outside of that door with silicone if you didnt peel and...

Re: New French Doors!

Very Nice. It looks like yall did a good job installing them. Did you guys cap flash them and peel and seal them? French doors are known for leaking that why a lot of builders use the sliders . Sliders arent known to leak as much.

Re: hunting coat

Try Looking at some of Columbia, Filson, or Brownings Upland hunting jackets. Most have orange on them, but every now and then you can find an all brown one. Cabelas also makes a good one. Here is one sounds like what you want...except maybe the price. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Clothing/Mens-Hu...
