Re: Well, I guess we'll see......
I ordered a Leupold Delta Point Pro direct from Leupold around the first of June and just got the confirmation of shipment this morning. At my age I see about 4 or 5 beads when I look down the rib. We'll see if this thing is worth the wait and makes the shooting a bit more precise. I have a milling...

Re: Who is in shape..
37 years ago I was guiding bighorn sheep and elk hunters in what is now the Bridger Teton Wilderness area near Jackson Wyoming. I always was amazed how difficult it was for the hunters to get around in that country at 8,000 to 10,000 feet elevation. Now I KNOW why it so difficult. It would kill me t...

I have them in my Tundra and they have been up to any abuse that I've dished out. Same as Fatmo I scrub them down and use some Armour All tire shine on them and they look good as new.

Glad I got mine when I did. For anyone who has the ability to go to any Corp Of Engineers office, they should have to passes and will sell you one on site.

Re: My future hunting partner.
You have a big job ahead of you as I'm sure you know. It's one of life's greatest challenges and I think the most rewarding. I remember taking my daughter with me. After a couple of potty breaks while I was working a gobbler we finally got him to show up. That turkey never flopped a lick until I pic...

Turkey Vest For A Kid
I have a Cabelas Tactical vest that I would like to see a youngster be able to get some use out of. I'm looking for someone who is a good kid that may not be able to afford to get one on his/her own, or who's family couldn't pull it off easily. Lets see if we can find a deserving kid that would do a...

Re: Old Calls Hunting With
I carry a 30 year old QB Easy Yelper. Dirt simple call that the vast majority of them weren't worth the 15 cents worth of wood that it took to make them. You had to look through about 50 of them to find 1 good one but when you found one they work VERY well. I wouldn't be surprised if that call has c...

Re: tips for newbs
One more for you. I hunt some big timber country in the Ozarks where there can be miles of uninterrupted forest. It's not uncommon to have a gobbler hung up on a small secondary ridge that you can't make it to without being seen. After figuring out that he's not going to come your way quit calling l...

Re: Tenzing TV-14 Vest
I look forward to seeing your review. I have been able to see images of the TP-14 vest with the kickstand legs (not for me for sure), and thought the pocket layout looked pretty good. If your vest has the same pocket arrangement it might be the one for me. I have been using a Cabelas vest for the la...

Tenzing TV-14 Vest
Have any of you gentlemen used this vest (the one without the kickstand legs)? I haven't been able to see a picture of the front of the vest and the pocket layout. Any general impressions about the quality?
