Re: Savage 220- UPDATE

My 220 wouldn't group 2.75" Trophy Copper's very well at all. It did better, but still not great, with 2.75" Remington Expanders. I bought a case of 3" Trophy Copper's to try out of it and a TC Encore Slug barrel. I plan to keep the one that groups em better. A lot of the reading I've...

Re: More geese

What's the best way to cook one? We're getting more and more in the deep south. My Grandmother's recipe: Pluck or skin your goose. Rub it down lightly with your favorite rub. i.e. Lowrys or similar. Rub on olive oil generously. Put in Roasting pan. Now here's the good part. Find a 2-3 pound rock an...

Yes, NASP is an EXTREMELY valuable program for kids! My son has been in it for 2 yrs now. This joke of an administration is killing our country and it's all because our former President hurt some fragile feelings. Re: Mossyoak Graphic Gun Skins?

I've had 2 different sets on the same gun for 6-7 yrs now. The only reason I changed sets is to change camo patterns. They're easy enough to install, hold up well, and are a very affordable alternative to having your gun dipped.

Re: Project gun with DIY paint job

Very nice work. I've Duracoated and rattle-can sprayed guns. My experience leads me to believe that the rattle-can application of a well prepared, degreased surface is better in the long run than a Duracoat or, gasp, a Ceracote finish for the simple reason that the latter two aren't easily repaired...

Project gun with DIY paint job

I've been working on this project gun (870 20 ga w/21" bbl and youth stock) since the 2022 turkey season and finally got it completely finished a few weeks ago. I had originally planned to go with my version of a rattle can Bottomland style camo pattern but just didn't work out. So I went with ...

Anyone familiar with PCP...

Airguns that is... :LMAO: I'm thinking bout getting one for various reasons. I have zero experience with them so I'm looking to shorten the learning curve. I'm looking at the Niksan Ozark-TS in .25 cal that's rated for 250 bar. I'd be going the hand pump route for refilling the air tank. Any advice ...
