Brice is spot on IMO. I'd buy it for that if I had the opportunity to.

Re: Dot size

The FF2 has a 4 MOA dot. That size seems right to me but it's all I've ever used so take that for what it's worth.

I've never owned a FF3, but my experience with the FF2 has affirmed "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Re: Sumtoy vs EGW & Burris vs Vortex ?

I'm a Burris fan. I have 3 of the FF2's (1 for 11 yrs, 1 for 5-6 yrs, and 1 for a few months). I love the simplicity of the on/off toggle switch and no brightness settings to toggle through.

Can't help as far as the base is concerned. Mine are mounted on Burris 336 mounts.

Re: Sad day in WV young man killed

All the talk about outlawing rifles (and I'm 100% for no rifles for turkey hunting), but the reality is that no state's DNR can legislate a person's irresponsibility/poor decision making. I do get it that the opportunity wouldn't be there though.

Re: Sad day in WV young man killed

This is an unthinkable tragedy. Of all things that can kill me, I've never really worried about another "hunter". However, it happened here several years ago where a "hunter" mistakenly shot another hunter for a hog. I didn't understand that just like I don't understand this. The...
