Re: Mossberg SA-20 build finished

Man, that's crazy. I went to the weatherby booth in Nashville and asked for the stock there and told an older fellow about my woes of trying to order one. He gave me a very odd look and said "why would they do that?" He said I should be able to order it on line, but I haven't looked yet.

You talked to them too huh....lol.
His rig sounds sounds like it would be a jam up hunt, but I'm skeptical and will need to research more.

Isn't he the one that made the tapered down looking chokes??

Re: Import form for turkey cape

Yes, outfitter should have all that lined up. Also, go ahead and have your taxidermist in mind and aware that you may be sending him one. Make sure whoever you intend to ship to or use to mount is USDA certified. There aren't many, so research this. Typically, most seem to use cally Morris. Blackwin...

Re: Mossberg SA-20 build finished

how did you get that stock? I called to order one and they wouldn't let me because I didn't have a serial number off of a gun. they wouldn't sell a part without it.
i have tried this before and was told they didn't make the pistol grip stocks, and now this. they are a tough compant to deal with

Re: guided options for Eastern turkeys

If possible, I would just try and plan for earlier next year for somewhere in the southeast. You could possibly go to somewhere like Pennsylvania during those times and do ok. For the most part, when may rolls around in the southeast, the seasons are closed or the birds just aren't working as well a...

Re: Mexico safety!

I went last may to Chihuahua with El Halcon. It was a fairly quick and whirlwind type ride out of town away from the airport. They told us they wanted to get us out of that part quickly as that was a bad part of town. We then went on into a bigger city that was all good. They had a Lowes, a nice,but...

Hate to hear this. It's something you may never get over. You may get on with life, but never over this event. It's a terrible thing. I can relate to this and it's not easy. You have my number, if you need me or anything , please feel free to call.

I didn't use a vest at all last year. At the end of 2015 I swapped over to a tom teaser quick sack and liked it a lot. I had everything in it that was in my tatr vest.
All that said, I will likely be getting a new nomad vest to try out. If I don't like it, I will put it up
