Daughter is on the Board for 2023
Well my daughter got off to a good start for the 2023 turkey season, we couldn’t make much happen off the roost this morning and she was starting to feel bad but we stayed after them and she finally made it happen at 11:15. 10” beard and 1 1/2” spurs, she perked right up after that!!!

Re: Weatherby Element
Yes the factory choke is fine for TSS, if you purchase a aftermarket choke I would highly recommend an Indian Creek .555 or .562. Can you tell me what the actual weight of the Element 20 ga. Is, been thinking of buying one if they are under 6 pounds.

Re: SA 28 feeding problems
Upon firing the bolt would stick about 1/3 of the way back up on my SA-28 and it wouldn’t chamber another round, I simply took the recoil spring out of it, measured it and stretched it 3/4” and that cured my problem.

If you can find a good 2 3/4” recipe it will solve your cycling issues, all I load in 20 gauge anymore is 2 3/4”.

I didn’t but it’s relatively light. I’ll check and see when I get a chance. I think my fishing scale should do the job.TurkeyTaco wrote: ↑March 31st, 2023, 3:21 pm You didn’t happen to weigh it without any shells in it did you?

Just a reminder, if you try to order parts for your SA-20 Mossberg doesn’t offer any replacement parts for them, so if you would want to order a full size stock to replace the compact stock on your gun, you can forget it…….Absolutely No replacement parts!!!!!

I think with the right choke (possibly Indian Creek) you could prolly get patterns like that at 40 yards, but that ain’t too hatefull.
