keep in mind a #7 hevishot pellet going 1200 fps out of a 28 gauge will hit with EXACTLY the same authority as a #7 hevishot pellet going 1200 fps out of a 10 gauge. the only real difference between the two, is a 10 gauge shell has substantially more pellets. same goes for a 1 ounce slug out of a 20...
