Re: Another Site milestone
Actually we will only allow sponsored new members after 500. That has worked good so far. Google refuses to put us on the first 300 pages. We show up right after " Womenknittingturkeysweaters.com" Man that pisses me off. LOL. However, if you are going to only allow 500, then dump all of t...

Re: Bass Pro does right thing
I have seen 2 local stores go out due to BassPro. I feel bad for them, but its a free market and what happens, happens. I wish the mom n pops would band together and unite to be able to purchase in large quantity to combat the box stores. Been tried in other retail markets.. Look at Independent Gro...

Re: The Haymaker Choke Tube from Midwest Turkey and IC
The 17-4 stainlesss steel Haymaker .560" is non-ported and contains no wad catcher features (Flite Control wad compatibility by design). I will not post dimension specifics regarding the Haymaker's forcing cone (in the choke) or its parallel section length but it should suffice to say that it ...

Re: The Haymaker Choke Tube from Midwest Turkey and IC
It begs the question, why not just order a 560 from IC.. Maybe Sloppy can clue us in to if the internals and such vary from the standard IC choke.

Re: What would you have done?
I think your son had opportunities to pull the trigger on the gobbler.. But judging by his gun barrel, he truly was never able to settle the gun barrel down on the head to feel confident with the shot.. He made the right decision judging by the figure 8s in the gun barrel.. I would hate to have mine...

Re: Federal Heavyweight Question
DO NOT shoot the Fed HW out of a ported choke tube. There have been cases of split choke tubes & siezed up threads & swelled up barrels. I think alot of this hysteria was founded on the Black Cloud steel loadings with this wad.. Folks were putting them in Patternmasters with the high raised...

Re: Federal Heavyweight Question
I've also been told that a factory flush choke tube works better on these shells because of the flight control wad. Not trying to kill you as the messenger. Marketing 101 for the FCW.. Basically they are implying that the FCW serves the purpose of an extended turkey choke tube.. This has ...

Solving the age old problem..
If you have hunted long enough, you surely have lost many a gobbler do to your pot call continually falling out of your hands.. Well now Primos has designed a product to overcome this nagging problem..

Re: Rem 20 Ga 870
It seems as if with the Feds. Half of these guns like a super tight constriction 550-555 and the other half prefer the more open 570 type choke.. The 570 range chokes I shot sucked, but one cannot overlook the number of folks on these boards shooting the RSF with the Feds with good results. I shoot ...
