Re: Happy Birthday SHOOTER

Thanks a bunch fellas, I really appreciate it!!! Was not the best day of my life though!  Ran over a Yellow Jacket nest with the new mower yesterday eve. Got hit 7 times. I was super allergic to bees when I was young, and always had to go to the hospital. In my teens, I went through a ser...

Need a little input

Since everyone I know in the world cuts grass, I'd like ya'lls input on the a top of the line zero turn mower. We have several good mowers now, but in the market for a new larger one. I have quite a few acres to deal with. Been looking at several John Deere ZTs, and half a dozen others. The Ariens 5...

Super Nice Gesture

Just in case any of you were wondering what our new Fearless Leader, Hoobilly Brice was made of,.... I'll give you a little tidbit. He just drove from Northern IN, to Port Arthur,TX, with a big U-Haul trailer loaded with supplies, to be given to the victims from the hurricane. Slept in the truck goi...

Re: Mec Question

The powder bushings throw a pretty consistent charge, but when dealing with TSS for shot, there is quite a deviation. I did a charge after charge, after charge test awhile back, doing the 1 5/8oz load. 711grns is what I was shooting for. I was getting anywhere from 695 to 730. An ounce load, I would...

Re: Mec Question

Looks like you are missing the black metal dogleg piece that blocks the vertical bar the wad guide is on.
I'll take a pic of it when I'm in the loading shop again.

Re: Mec Question

If the machine is working properly, when you pull the handle down, the wad guide comes down to the hull. Then you slide the charge bar to drop the powder. when you let the handle back up, the wad guide should stay down so you can put the wad in easily. Then you slide the charge bar back to drop the ...

This is what I've found on my first look Cole. Pretty sure I've seen more somewhere else though.
I'll keep looking. In the meantime, here is a number you can call for some info to this particular company. 1-647-284-3766

Re: 20 ga. 1-5/8 TSS vs. Same in 12 ga.

I shoot 1&5/8 from my 12 ga Beretta 586 UL (listed at 5 lb 14 oz, but mine actually weighs 6.75 with B-Square Cantilever rib mount, FF II, and sling). As others have said, the shot string will be shorter from a 12 vs a 20 with equal payload weight, but that is a non-issue with a stationary target. ...

Small world we live in

Talkin with Brice earlier today. Seems we were in the same small place together, before we even knew each other or knew that we were into turkey hunting. Yep, Dale Earnhardt's last win in Talladega. We were there. He was in the front stands, and I was in the pits, and infield on top of a motorhome d...
