Re: New Yorks turkey tags cost????
Something doesn't sound correct about the $$$$ to turkey hunt in NY. What they are doing would be to SUCK in as many from down south to hunt.................. most would have to pass through NYC to get to upper state NY. It is illegal to be in possession of a firearm within city limits. “OH boy ther...

It’s rare but on occasion I wish you could “dial” it up a bit. Is that what I think it is ???? Overall I hunt hardwoods, cedars and pines, some quite thick. When I started purchasing them they were in the mid 6s now mid to low 4s. Both eyes open "dot it" "send it". No finer red d...

What gun? Turkey's thinkin' the same thing. :violent1: Try finding your cell phone (on vibrate) in a camo case that you dropped on the way back to the truck. I don’t use a camo case for just that reason, I’ll tie a strip of blaze orange around my case  . That was after I spent almost two h...

Re: Big 20 XL and Barrel Cleaning
During season I run a bore snake through it 3X's after a shot. I also do this after each shot when I am checking a pattern. After season, gun is completely taking down and deep cleaned and put up. Ditto here, Bore snakes are great, ideal for a quick field clean. Found it necessary after each shot t...

A blonde city girl named Amy marries a Colorado rancher. One morning, on his way out to check on the cows, the rancher says to Amy, "The insemination man is coming over to impregnate one of our cows, so I drove a nail into the 2x4 just above where the cow's stall is in the barn. Please show hi...

I don't normally use one but, I do use a red filter for creeping through the woods to try to be stealthy. If I point the light towards the ground I think I am good. Keeping my footpath lighted makes for a more quiet walk. If I am getting close to the roost, I go lights out. Same here very...
