Re: Great morning

Awesome Tom, send some of those turkeys to Georgia!!! We could use about 150,000 to get our numbers to where the DNR say they are!!! Just wait, I never thought we'd rebound. But more than anything I believe turkeys are cyclical much like our ruffed grouse. Our grouse run a 10 year cycle and it's ev...

Um yeah had to of been bottle fed.. One of my folks good friends growing up took in an orphaned fawn. She had a orange vest for it, it would be seen for miles. As a kid I'd feed it triscuit cracker's and her fawns would come up and lick ya. This went on for years. I grew up with a pen full of tame f...

Re: What's the Best Spurs You Ever Killed

I've posted this before on here I've killed an been apart of a number of 1.25 birds they always seem to have wide Spurs. 1.5 plus always seem skinny Spurs. Honestly think it's genetic makeup. Honestly think them birds at 1.25 are every bit as old as the 1.5+ my 2 pennies. We can debate deer genetics...

While I totally agree with the "get what you pay for" comments. They're a ton of 2-3 hundred dollar scopes that are very good. I cannot say ever had a time I couldn't make a shot at shooting light or end of. Leupold and Nikon jacked up their lines so much, I don't know what's what anymore. Go to a g...
