I had the same issues with my 20G Franchi.... I trimmed about 1/8th of the shell and the issue was resolved.

For those shooting the True-Lock .585, are you using the flush or extended and if extended ported or not? Thanks so much.

I have a Franchi Instinct L. haven't shot a turkey with it yet, but man does it bring the pain to the ducks.

Stay with them. Its been that way all year for me. Nothing gobbling yesterday, today gobbling and came right to me off the roost.

this might be a silly question but.... what is the difference in sound and ease of use between a wing bone and trumpet call?

Went after them again this morning. It was a much cooler morning and they didn't want to gobble to anything but the crows. I need more time in the mornings to work them before I go to work. I think I'll give them a break tomorrow and get after them all morning on Sat. Good luck to everyone.

yeah I usually don't see them until he walks away and crosses a road or a cut over.... They are usually in the brush/pines/hardwoods that I couldn't see past 30 yards or so and just wont come that last few yards. Trust me, if I see him in close he's dead.
