I’d check with Briley. Almost positive they make an XF for it. Have you tried the factory full? May surprise you.

Re: o/u 20 gauge recommendations please

You may be familiar with them but I would be looking for one with double triggers if you’re planning on shooting two different constriction chokes. I quit shooting an o/u because I didn’t like fumbling with the barrel selector when turkeys were up close. Fo sho. The CZ Mallard would be my choice, a...

Re: Retay

I’ve been looking at em hard since last fall. Kinda just been waiting on that bottomland/bronze to debut. The Retay rep told me summer 2019. Sharp looking rig. Trulock makes chokes for them. It doesn’t indicate what other chokes are compatible though. That’s right...and from what I understand, there...

There’s several states that’s suffering Like Louisiana. Their dept doesn’t want to reduce limitations etc as they want to keep the revenue Louisiana is in bad shape!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk For sure! At least they’ve made changes. And it makes sense to me. Can’t hurt. Hopefully it’s ...

Plus $25 for trigger guard.

Probably going to just send my forearm and both stocks off for hydro in greenleaf and then do a solid cerakote on the barrel and receiver locally.
Wow. I had actually planned to call Rykan this week and get a price. Never mind

Re: compact youth model size...fitment?

Double check with Franchi, but I’m pretty sure the Affinity compact comes with stock spacers, if that makes you feel better about it. I recently ordered the full size version, just because it comes D/T for optic mounting, but the compact version does not. Otherwise, I would’ve gotten the compact.

Re: Looking For Tips On Using A Tube Call

Seems like I say “put” for a cluck...pretty sharply. I run proph on my Morgan’s, but have gone heavier with other tubes. Ctrize-try putting a little piece of paper towel in the barrel. Not so much that it’s choked all the way down though. I leave one in mine. Start with a big piece and just tear it ...

Tom, you ever do any work for a fella outta Port Sulphur, LA? Went on a bowfishing trip a couple weeks ago and thought maybe I ran into a piece of your artwork on the wall.

Re: Boot Recommendations

I’ve been eyeballing the Crispi’s for 6-8 months, but they’re not cheap. I wear one of the Danner’s currently. I have given up on snake boots. This will be my first spring in Turtle Skin snake armor over hiking boots, or rubber boots, depending on location. I’ll own a pair of Crispi’s at some point.

What's that one with the wingbone bell?
This post was about the lanyard, pay no attention to that :D
It’s a KP. He stopped making them a few years back. It also has a hen wing mouthpiece. The middle bone (in a traditional 3 piece wingbone call) was replaced by turned wood ;)

Sorry your trip didn’t work out, that sucks. I’ve carried a trigger stick at times, over the years, when the situation calls for it. I really like em. Never had any issues with mine until I dropped it about 20’. Had to buy a new one after that. I just recently purchased a Caldwell field pod for my k...
