Most of the reviews I’ve seen on it have been good. Haven’t used one but wouldn’t hesitate to and Cabela’s has it on sale right now for $189

Re: Federal TSS 9's
A lot of people seem to lean more around the .670 range when it comes to the 9's. Tends to give a more even pattern and a little more forgiving on close shots. They still put 100's of those bb's on paper at 50 yards.

Re: Lucy Adapter?
I bought one for a youth 20 gauge build i'm doing for my wife and using the spec ops gen 1 recoil reducing stock. She had to have a couple surgeries last year and i'm trying to take all the kick out i can. I haven't mounted it yet but i can tell you that it is a very well made quality piece.

Re: Anybody using standard chokes with TSS?
A lot of guys shoot .570 to .575 in 20 gauge and .670 to .675 in 12 gauge to get more forgiving up close patterns that will still rock them at 40 yards. Those constrictions are gonna get you close to factory Full but remember that a lot of Factory chokes will not be TSS approved.

Re: Remington® Model 870 SPS Super Mag Turkey vs Turkey/Predator
I have an older 870 Max Gobbler 23” with an original Jelly .665 in it. It throws nice patterns with a lot of different shells Win Supreme 5’s, Hevi 6’s, Hevi 7’s and Mag Blends. Gonna try some TSS 9’s in it this year.

Re: Cheap red dot options
I’ve had a Meuller quickshot on my 870 Max Gobbler for years and it has held up well. There are a lot of good options out there less than $200. I picked up a Swampfox Kingslayer the other day for $129 with their Presidents’ Day sale to put on my wife’s 870 build. I am very impressed with the quality...

Thanks Hoobilly. I have a couple of the EGW rails on 2 model 70’s. Didn’t think about looking to see what they had for red dots. I know the FF3 is nice just wanting to try something different. Lol

Advice on Winchester SX2 barrel
Ok Fellas here's the deal. I took a Winchester SX2 that I recently picked up on a trade to have the receiver drilled and tapped for a rail by a Gun Smith and was told that the receiver was aluminum and was to thin to drill for a rail? I don't want to use a saddle or mount something to the vent rib. ...

Re: anyone use a meopta reflex sight
1000hr battery life is kinda short if Burris is 5000. Trijicon RMR is a couple years. Shield SIS is also extra long-lived. I was all set to get a Delta Point Pro until I saw a deal to get another FastFire cheap. Of course, I had to send the Fastfire in for service because it was eating batteries. W...

Re: anyone use a meopta reflex sight
I've looked at the Meopta several times but at that price point I believe i'm gonna give the Holosun HE510C Elite a try. It's solar capable, has auto on/off, different reticles, comes in Green or Red, up to 50,000 Hr battery life, comes with mount for weaver style or picatinny and has a Titanium pro...

Re: Weaver vs. Vortex opinions?
I haven't used any of the newer weaver but the older scopes where very nice. I have had a lot of experience with Vortex in the Crossfire, Diamondback and Viper lines. Glass is above average on the Vortex scopes unless you jump to Razor and LH then its exceptional. The Diamondback should be a very cl...

Dead bird! Wish they made it with a 21” barrel. Heck I wish I could find a 21 incher for my SX2 12 gauge.
