Re: Wing Bones.

I used BCY Polygrip center serving cause it's what I had on hand. I sealed the wraps with superglue.

Re: Wing Bones.

I boiled and scraped mine initially, then soaked in regular, brown bottle hydrogen peroxide for a day or two. I was very pleased with how they turned out considering these were the first 2 I'd ever made.

Re: Florence

I evacuated for Katrina and highly recommend leaving for a few days if you are able. I live 27 miles inland from the Gulf and the eye practically passed right over us. Florence looks every bit as nasty and will likely dump more rain than Katrina did. Prayers for all of you guys who are in the path! ...

Re: Thermacell fuel

Refilling is quick and easy. Get a pair of pliers, wrap some blue painters tape around the brass nipple (not to damage/mar it), and pull it out. Then, take a small screw and screw in into the piece (check valve) just beneath where the brass nipple was. Pull out the check valve with the screw. Snap t...

I remember seeing a video of his performance a few nights after that shooting and it was obvious that he was truly bothered by it. I remember him doing a tribute that involved two empty seats in the crowd for a couple who was supposed to see his show that night but they lost their lives in Vegas. I ...

Re: Anyone shot Hals MOA load in autos

NO! It can't I gotta good friend who learned from experience. Something about the barrel separates at the vent? Shot it out my Affinity and know several others who do as well. it won't feed from mag to barrel with roll crimp. I'll second what jstocks said about the good friend who learned from expe...

Re: 22 Rifle sports a new tube

I like Simmons. Be aware if it is a big game scope you may have parallax problems on close range shots. I made that mistake years ago with my Remington 581. Don't understand "parallax" but I'm sure Google does. My 581 at 25 yards (squirrel range) will put 5 shots in a dime. Good guns. Good luck. It...

Yep, Shooter told you right! Also, I see you went with an AO, which is a must on a .22 as far as I'm concerned.

Re: 90/93

Is rolling or fold crimping better. Or just personal preference on tss loads I have done both and personally prefer fold crimping. For me, it's just quicker and much easier since I only have a cordless drill (not a drill press) to roll crimp with. At the same time, my MEC 600 was given to me so I c...

Re: 90/93

Just curious, what makes you consider it obsolete? he might be talking about the 93 wad not in stock at Precision etc Shooter has them by the thousands.. Perhaps, but like you said that's certainly not the case. I made sure I ordered enough from Shooter to last me a lifetime. After all, wads are th...

Re: 90/93

I loaded up 10 of the 90/93's this spring to pattern but never got around to shooting them, I shoot a M2 and when I cut the cushion off the 93 wad I cut it right down flush with the top of the gas seal. My OAL ended up being 2.420 to 2.435 which should cycle fine in the Benelli, what I am wondering...

http://www.gobblernation.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=13762&p=149362&hilit=vp93#p149362 I cut mine with more cushion than shown in Shooter's pic in order to omit the 1/8" felt on top of the shot. It folds great and I just seal the crimp with clear fingernail polish. It ends up being the same OAL ...

Was very accurate with the Federal hollowpoints. Can’t find them anymore. But it didn’t shoot as good as these Aguilas. I’ll tak...
