Re: Binos for turkeys
I may have already commented but I did the buy once cry once and got Swarovski 10x42 for both deer n turkeys and love the kuiu pro bino pouch. Lots easier for me personally and certainly increased success for finding turkeys in shadows of public land I hunt.

I like the drilled and tapped top myself, but make sure you get a speed bead that will fit the 28!

Shooting hen turkeys
I ended up dropping off the other forum just bc it was non productive childish division. I’ll admit I’ve passed 6 bearded hens over my hunting “career” but I did shoot one a few years back for a mount my taxi won a national ribbon for. At her request. And a challenging hunt. Won’t shoot one again an...

Re: Shooting hen turkeys
Yessir!!! I posted a rather long comment on a different forum (seem to be a dearth of haters) that just made me feel better. I won’t here but in summary Sam and all the THP boys are great friends and human beings; I was just sad at the divide among those of us who need NOT to be divided!! We need ea...

Re: Drill and tap Benelli 28gauge
My speed bead on my 28UL moved once after my gun fell off of my 4 wheeler. I was a little flakey for a few shots until I removed the set screw and all was good again. I now run it without the set screw. I have since punished it for 2 more seasons with out any issues. The best thing about it is my r...

Speed bead headed back to where I bought it. Just didn’t stay rock solid. Off enough to have no confidence in it. Going to drill and tap the top. Seems very solid! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I put a speed bead on my Maxus and had heard different things about them moving. Thus far mine hasn'...

Re: Self filming
I have a cheap panasonic cam and a cheap walmart tripod. I carry it in my vest all the time. The only real success self-filming I have had is if I am stationary looking over a field with decoys knowing they frequent the field and might come to the decoys and be distracted. If I'm chasing them in th...

Self filming
Not easy to do. As a fella who trained with The Hunting Public’s Greg Clements, we both love the LUMIX Gh5. Fantastic camera. We also use a PXW Z90 and GoPro’s. When I’m self filming it’s usually the Z90 and a GoPro because I have better control of the zoom and focus. Here is a self filmed fall hunt...

Re: What do I think
I love Dave, Chubbs, and Courtenay with Pinhoti, Catman, and most importantly love THP bc I get to write the music for em. And I get to hunt with them and learn one helluva lot of info. And apply it to my hunting skills! I love to film and my mom’s and my hunt is my all time favorite (just uploaded)...
