Re: Nomad Bull Lounger Vest Review?

Bought one when they first came out. Took the frame out immediately and still didn’t like the comfort of the vest. I use a lounger 99% of the time so I’m not worried about a few extra pounds. I take the cushion off of every vest I’ve had since I’ve been using the chair. I returned the vest after onl...

Re: Benelli M2 Pattern Results with Indian Creek 569

I've got a .575 Carlson I'm gonna give a try in my Affinity as soon as I get it back from TNT custom camo. Shot the .555 IC last season and it rocked em but wanted to open it up a bit.

Re: who's hunting this weekend?

Good luck to any and all that still get to hunt. I'll be working tomorrow so my 1 kill will have to do. Had a few encounters this year but nothing like years past. Gonna be a long 11 months to ponder what happened this season.

1 down

It took a few days to figure out the birds on the new lease. It's starting to come together.

Re: who's hunting this weekend?

Put the hammer on a pretty good one this morning. I'll post the pics later. I've been every day this week and today was the 1st day a bird showed me some attention. If this weather will stabilize it could be on for the next 2 weeks here. Also stopped by one of my old stomping grounds around lunch to...

Way to go Hal. I'm sitting here on pins and needles waiting on Mon. am. Birds have been sounding off good in the mornings. Hopefully I'll be of some help in the near future.

Re: Franchii Affinity 20 patterns ICBDS .555

I agree with all that has been said. I usually don't get into the whole numbers game but after shooting these patterns I figured I would show them to you guys and see what ya'll think. From looking at others patterns I could see 150 averages with these shells but the counts I'm getting just lead me ...

Re: Franchii Affinity 20 patterns ICBDS .555

Going by Hals shot chart there should be around 347 or so pellets in the 1.25 Hevi 7 shells. I'm gonna count the 25 yard pattern when I get a chance cause I believe there are way more than 347 pellets on that sheet of paper. I would say most of the pattern hit the poster board. This range I'm using ...

Re: Remington 870SM Kicks GT .655

The extractor came out again for the 3rd time. I bought the gun new in 06. I believe the hole where the plunger and spring go are wore out and I need a new bolt assembly. Brand new parts went in it the last time and has been working fine ever since until my shooting session last week. First shot of ...

Re: Franchii Affinity 20 patterns ICBDS .555

I ordered 4 boxes from MPW. 3 of those have the same lot #. The odd lot# shoots the lowest. I've shot 3 shells out of it and all were low 170s. The other 4 shots have came from the same lot. Whats the chances of me getting smaller shot in these loads? Looking at the holes in the paper something just...

Re: Remington 870SM Kicks GT .655

Thats after polishing the crap out of that barrel. These were shot at around 55 degrees also. My 1187 with 26" pipe will throw the same pattern. I took the 1187 out one day last summer with the temp around 95 and shot a 236 and a 242 with my last 2 shells from last year. Sure didn't know they w...

Remington 870SM Kicks GT .655

Win ER 3.5" 2 #6 10" @ 40yds. The 1187 has broke again so I put one of my chokes in the 870. Gonna run with the 20 this year but you always need a backup.

Franchii Affinity 20 patterns ICBDS .555

Hevi 3" 1.25 #7 10" @ 40yds. I've shot this combo a total of 7 times now and 5 are very consistent.(mid 170s to mid 180s) The 2 patterns that have me scratching my head are 2 shells from the same box with the same lot# as the other boxes I shot. I even counted the holes twice and counted t...

Re: Well, I bit the bullet and joined the 20 club today

Tommy, you will love that gun. I had the chance to get one just like it except it was black. I let it get away. I ended up buying a Franchii Affinity 20 and I'm hoping to bust one with it this season. I shot it the other day with the IC .555 with Hevi 7s and averaged 170-180 in the 10 @ 40. (5shots)...

Re: Older Rem 1100 20 ga LT

Whats going on man. Like Ricky said they were some in 3inch but the ones I have seen were magnum 20's. Mine has the white diamond on the stock and shoots 2 3/4. That price seems about right if the gun is in good shape. Even beat up ones will bring $300.00
