Re: Covid
Booster gave my dad a stroke that eventually killed him.... Keep the poison away img_1_1701531507893.jpg I 1000% love the image in this post! It sums it up for me completely. Just got back from the SHOT Show in Vegas, and caught Covid there. I was feverish for a couple days and it’s a bit of a head...

Re: Burris speed bead
I have had Speed Beads on 2 shotguns for many years. Super tough product that has not failed me yet. Fact is though, any red dot you stick on a gun is going to make getting good hits much easier. I am running an Aimpoint T2 on a Browning Cynergy Ultimate Turkey and what an easy to use combination!

Re: A controversial subject.
Humans are humans. That is the answer. We love to belong to a tribe and exclude "the other" from the tribe. It is wired into our brains for survival from caveman times apparently. You see it everywhere. Trad. vs. modern bow, flintlock vs. modern ML, trap shooters vs. skeet shooters, left v...

Re: Long range shooting..
What’s the furthest you have shot and with what rifle etc? I did a 3 day long range rifle class at Storm Mountain Training Center in WV because i didn’t know much about the topic. Learned a LOT over those 3 days! For the final exam, to pass the class, they had us shoot all the way out to 800 yards....

Re: Broadhead Wound in Today's Tom
I have been bow hunting for almost 40 years. I have taken turkeys with a bow.
That being said, shots like this one are why i don't bow hunt for turkeys. Lots of wounding and lost birds. Gobblers deserve better than archery gear.

Re: Tactical sling?
The 3 point sling is a historical design that was developed for HK subguns. They work fine in that role but on other firearm platforms especially, the “cross strap” can impede access to certain controls and cause malfunctions. The 3 point sling is not what you want. Nor is the single point. You want...

Any Colorado Turkey Hunters Here? Need advice please!
I am going to fly out and visit a friend in Norwood, CO next spring to turkey hunt. This is in the SW corner of CO. Going to take him out and try to get him hooked just like I am. Because of work and other hunts I am on, I can basically only hunt either the first week or the last week of the season....
