Re: NIB Benelli SBE3 28 Gauge with extras
Did they just recently start drilling and tapping the 20/28 gauge SBE 3 guns at the factory?

Re: Carved tobacco tin scratchbox.......
I would be afraid to take this into the woods due to the fact that it would be such a distraction! I could sit against a tree and look at that call for hours… Excellent job!

Re: What guns are you looking to buy?
Anybody have a SBE3 28ga with some first hand advice on the POI/POA? I do indeed. Mine shoots field loads about the usual 90/10 or a touch higher. With a 1 5/16 oz TSS load though it’s a whole different story. With factory flush chokes, they are consistently low and to the right. With factory exten...

I’ve found the carbon strikers can be a real treat to get traction with on ceramic. For weather, I’ve been using plexi glass strikers. Under normal conditions a new favorite has been chestnut.

To be honest, I think everything seems stupid to me right now and it doesn't take much to set my teeth on edge. It probably will for another week.

Re: Tidewe turkey vest
My coworker bought one. I’m not a frame vest fan, but I must say it’s very comfortable. I sat in it and told him you could easily take a nap in the thing. Seems very well constructed also. Plenty of pockets and storage. Not a terrible price to boot!

For the money, I don’t think you can get a better pump right now than a SXP. I have the waterfowl edition with 28” barrel , and it patterns well with about anything I put in it. Shoots POA and fits like a glove. Can’t ask for much more.

Hamloaf is one of my favorites as well! My mom always made it growing up. My fiancé had no idea what it was when we started dating... I use the leftovers and make cold sandwiches until it’s gone!
