Re: Box Calls
I just bought a Bill Baubilt Purple Heart and Black Limba call it showed up today by far the best sounding and nicest craftsmanship box call I have ever owned. It was the most expensive one I have dropped money on $63 shipped to my door but well worth the money. That said I am very confident that it...

Re: bead or scope
Switched to a truglo gobble stopper red dot scope on my stoeger P350 pump this year. After sighting it in I like that my pattern is centered where the dot is. Last year I shot a turkey while slipping down a logging road and lost him. My gun at the time shot a little to the right and I didn’t account...

I would recommend to be in areas where there is sign. You are looking for scratching in the leaves or field ranges where you have regularly seen them. I hope you have some luck and talk to one you will probably get the turkey fever when you start talking to a turkey and he answers you back. On anoth...

Re: Need advise on 870 youth build
I have a truglo gobble stopper scope. It is a red dot more or less. I have not liked red dots in low light because the dot is so bright I can’t see the target. This one will get very dim and works well in low light. That said the Burris FF is nice but cost more.

Re: How far do you drive
25 miles as the crow flys. Takes 45 minutes all public ground but about 10 acres of private woods I have to hunt. 3000 of private for a fifty mile drive sounds good if it has birds.

Re: Vests
I just got a tenzing tp14 with the legs for this year. I hunted with old Tom essentials vest which was good but not enough room in the front pockets to be able to carry everything I wanted to. The public land I hunt on I can cover 12 miles in a day and like to have my stuff with me, calls and all bu...
