Suppressor

Does anyone care to school me on the process of acquiring a suppressor? I bought a CZ with a threaded barrel and I'm thinking about getting one. Does it affect accuracy? What about how much the noise level drops for my kids? They do seem expensive so what's the best bang for your buck? Thanks for an...

Re: Cz Bobwhite reviews

The CZ Bobwhite 28 ga. is a better balanced gun than the 20 ga. model. I shot one for quail and woodcock until last year when I gave it to the grandson of a longtime friend. It is an excellent gun weighing just over 5.25 lbs. It has a scaled action for 28 ga. and isn't just a pair of 28 ga. barrels...

Cz Bobwhite reviews

So I've become a full blown quail hunting addict. I'm thinking of getting a CZ Bobwhite in 28 gauge. Any good or bad reviews? I don't like littering the uplands with my Benelli m2 spent shells. I've heard of double fires with the sharptail model and that should be prevented with the double triggers....

Re: Fall Doggin'

I love turkey hunting and chasing quail with my bird dog here in KS. They did away with the fall season but it has always been a dream of mine to go on a turkey dog hunt. I called Turkey Trot Acres but they don't offer the hunts anymore. Does anyone know of a guided hunt or someone who would let me ...

Early season tactics

I hunt the early Nebraska archery season (which opens March 25) and Kansas (early April opening).

Usually the birds are flocked up and the hens aren't sitting on nests yet.

I try to deer hunt them, pick a fight with hens or use gobbler clucks and yelps.

What earls season tactics do you use?
