Re: How was your season?

I’m done, stick a fork in me. I worked one hen during the entire season and the gobbler did not follow her in tow or I would have scored. I saw three gobblers on my last morning in NY and they were in the yard of resident homes. By the way, most of my gobbler sightings were in the driveways and yard...

I concur. That’s my season thus far in NY. I will give it another try next week before the closing.

Re: I thought TX would rank higher for top Turkey hunting states?

Thx for the article. I live and hunt the southern tier of NY and I can tell you that NY is NOT in the top 5 states to hunt Gobblers. It is few and far in between the years when I tag out in NY. We get two tags for the season and we can hunt until noon only. Best regards.

Congrats. Awesome deal. How did you know it was a gobbler approaching you when he was using a mouth call? I wonder how it fit comfortably in his beak? [emoji12]

The padding helps soften the weight on your shoulder. I usually keep the tail in front as I'm walking so to keep the tail feathers protected from damage from briars/brush.
Great idea. Thx for sharing.
