Heard of a bunch guys killing in Mississippi last week who, when asked if the bird came in gobbling, responded with, “Naw, came in silent following some hens.”

Maybe they used this call. I figured they were just sitting over the real thing. I should be kinder and not assume I guess lol

Hank's got it going on when it comes to game recipes. His venison barbacoa is a big hit at our house. I recently made a big batch using all of the legs from this springs' gobblers and you'd never have known it was turkey, much less the legs.
