I use to be that novice not to long ago. The biggest thing I’ve picked up on is after every hunt go back through and make sure you learn something from it. Even the smallest things will eventually play a huge factor in hunting these magnificent birds.

I’ve got a new affinity 3 20 gauge compact it’s drilles and tapped from the factory and comes with shims and stock spacers. I absolutely love the gun so far and is by far the lightest gun I’ve ever hunted with. It also seems to be really high quality considering it’s half the price of the m2.

Gators really dont bother me however i keep hearing the cottonmouths are aggressive thats what im most worried about. I feel like its going to be like most wildlife though just respect it and u will be fine.

Thanks guys for all the info. Im pretty familiar with Florida and the thunderstorms as im in florida at least once a yr it seems lately. I am heading down to Tampa for a 2 week vaction here soon and plan on checking thw place out. The swamps will be a new experience but hopefully an enjoyable one.

What constriction choke are u guys using for tss

Trim 1/8 in off and then pack everything as tightly as possible. Also use the paper overshot cards as they are thinner than the plastic. A gaep roll crimp also helps and looks better
