Oklahoma's new game management plan??
Question for you: What is the deal with Oklahoma going to a one bird per county limit over the entire eastern half of the state? Is this a new management plan, or a reaction to poor management plan in recent years? We all knew about the issues in the far southeastern corner of the state... coming ou...

Re: Face masks

Re: Retirement destination
Retire where the taxes are low, the medical community is top notch, and people are friendly. Then buy a motorhome as your "vacation home" and visit all the places you have on your bucket list. Find something to keep your mind busy... part time work, volunteering, hobbies... read a lot.... ...

Re: First out of state hunt. Oklahoma Rios!?
Being a southern boy, I understand the lure of going after Rios.... they act differently than our home state Easterns. That being said... I have hunted a few places in Oklahoma, and Black Kettle is the last place I would ever wish to hunt again. For several reasons.... Black Kettle is a hodge podge ...

Re: DEER TICKS ALREADY!!!

Re: Food Saver Game Saver Plus Vacuum Sealer
Great for packing clothes too.... As a soldier, our gear was constantly getting wet... and having to put on clean wet clothes sucks... wet socks are just wet socks. I carry survival items in my vest in vacuum sealed packets. I put vacuum sealed packets of 1st aid supplies in my deer stands. Batterie...

Re: Turkey Hunting Seminar
Rockhound is a very smart man!!! The reality is, you're mission is to instill a desire to hunt turkeys into a group of new hunters. Start with a montage of hunting clips..... some successful... some not...and some funny.... keep this short 3 minutes max. A display of turkey hunting equipment.... gun...
