Re: New gun

Both great guns!

M2 is my favorite the workmanship is better but the price reflects it steeply.

Re: Best 20

if money is no object M2 compact all the way of the 10 dedicated turkey guns I own its my favorite by a wide margin. Its light, quality built, short and compact and it shoots well. As shown in the photo I have $1020 in the gun, $350 in the cerakote, dip and drill and tap and I believe $50 in the sum...

Re: Looking for suggestions on new gun....

I just built a performance center knockoff M2 20 gauge compact 24 inch and of the 10 turkey guns I own it is by far my favorite. It is very light, patterns well, handles like a dream and is solidly built. I like it so much I am thinking of building another one.

Tough times for sure! I paid in full for a Montana hunt that outfitter has let us re-book same dates next year. I ate the license cost Montana will not refund. South Dakota hunt same story as above but did not buy licenses luckily. Guy in Wyoming is not budging either come or lose the money, at the ...

Re: Opinions on Benelli M2 20ga 24in Barrel?

Love my M2 24 inch compact I am probably biased but I really think its the best built and handling 20 gauge turkey gun out there and I own more than a few including some mentioned in this thread. If you shop around you can get one at around 1 grand. I bought one several months ago and did a performa...

Re: Tristar 410 Turkey

Indian Creek just released chokes for the TriStar 410 they have them in three constrictions 380 385 and 390 I bought a 385 choke from them its on the way in the mail to me now,

Just a note they are not finishing the chokes black so you will have to finish them by painting them, etc.

Re: Stevens 301 turkey 410

how much are they??? $162 shipped free not a bad price at all. They have bottomland in stock 410 and 20 but there out of stock on the obsession camo models. These guns are pretty solid for the price and have a good feel to them. No extra money to drill and tap for chokes and mount a rail which adds...

Re: 410?

For a single shot and for the money its tough to beat the stevens 301 turkey its already got a rail mounted to the barrel for red dots and comes with an extended choke. Very solid gun for around 170 dollars and I really like mine. Cant comment on the tristar viper G2 but I got one arriving tomorrow,...

Re: o/u 20 gauge recommendations please

The Yildiz O/U is a bad little shotgun!! I have a sumtoy vent rib mount for my FF 3. I had to add a shim to get it zero. Paired it with two Trulock .581 precision hunter extended chokes. I also added a Sims limb saver recoil pad. It’s extremely light weight and was a pleasure to tote this past spri...

I wonder if there is a decent amount of variation in these triggers. The one we have is pretty decent, especially for the price. I'll have a second one arrive today and will have some direct ability to compare. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk Where are you finding them for sale and price if y...

Stevens 301 turkey trigger

Has anyone had a gunsmith work on trigger of a 301 turkey or try to do it themselves.

Just got the 410 and I really like the gun especially for the price but I would like to improve the trigger, its not horrible but it could be better.

Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

Re: Retay

The trigger guard is not plastic and it pops out of place with no pins to punch. No benelli click and I have been a victim of that before. Last but not least the price, benellis are great guns but at roughly 1400 for an M2 you are paying for a lot of hype I think and I own an M2 which is a great gun.

Hoobilly update this post with some patterns once you finish your built I have been toying around with the idea of getting one of these for sometime.

Just got a Stevens 301-T and I really like it especially for the price but would like to expand my 410 lineup.
